DOG PARK!!!

On Saturday we decided to go to a different dog park. This one is a little closer than the one we usually go to but it is so much bigger that I get nervous to just let my pups loose, even though it is totally enclosed, for fear that it would take hours to find them again.

They were so excited to go somewhere, even though Bo isn't a big fan of the car, he was relatively well behaved (maybe because I told him if he didn't behave and lay down in the car he was going to stay on the leash the entire time... or not).

When we got there we walked them a little bit on leash and let them at least get some good smells in entice them to not run too far (HA, good luck). We met up with a few greyhound owners from GPA MN, and that was a lot of fun.

We finally got to a clearing with some other larger sized dogs, where we decided to let them go. It was a big open area and we figured they couldn't escape us too easily there. *sigh* Well Bella Bean saw some chasing games and HAD to be in on it. Unfortunately the white furred dog being chased (although a larger dog, American Bulldog type)was a bit of a chicken b/c he saw these two coming and turned tail. Next thing we know, the dogs chased this big white dog into the woods, the owners are scared and we were way too far off to do anything. But the scared doggy followed a trail that led them back to us and we just managed on snagging our pups (with the help of some other people there). By this time the white dog realized it was a game and was looking for more, but I think it's owners had enough of a heart attack for a day. We were so embarrassed, but everyone was pretty understanding that these two were just looking for a run, nothing more. After their chase, Bo and Bella were done running for the day. They stuck pretty close after that and even gave eyes of, "Isn't it time to get going?" It was a good day, lots of fun and good runs.

Then blowing rasberries at us for taking so many pictures. :) Bo trotting back after some good tree inspections.

After a while they just stuck close to us, too tired to run anymore. :)
